Questions
about APPR for School Counselors?
NYSSCA is working closely
with NYSUT to assist school counselors whose districts are negotiating
contractual changes to annual professional performance reviews (APPR).
Although the current legislation on APPR for teachers DOES NOT APPLY
TO SCHOOL COUNSELORS, it appears some districts are
asking school counselors to propose a new APPR rubric and/or SLOs.

NYSSCA page
