    Sage Fulgan - President

    Sage has served on the board as VP of Communications and President Elect  Sage graduated form SUNY Cortland with her BA in Business Economics, Financial Management and a concentration in Computer Applications. She earned her Master’s and CAS from Sage Gradate School in Professional School Counseling.  She has worked as a High School Counselor in Middleburgh, a Crisis Counselor through the Family Counseling Center of Fulton County, and a School Counselor at Gloversville High School. She is currently a School Counselor at Tamarac serving grades 6-12. 

    When she is not at work, Sage enjoys spending time outside in nature. She and her husband enjoy bike riding and walking their dogs. When not outside, she can be found cuddled on the couch watching Netflix or reading a book with their cats.

    Katelyn Baker - VP of Communications

    Katelyn is a Middle School Counselor at Algonquin Middle School in Averill Park. 

  • Colleen O'Flaherty - VP of Membership

    Colleen is returning to the CDCA Executive Board as VP of Membership.  She has been a member of CDCA for over 20 years and is a Past President.

    She recently retired from her position as School Counselor at Troy High School and is looking forward to spending time with her children and grandbaby in Colorado.  She is also happy to have the time to work with everyone on the Board.

    Kimberly Leva - Treasurer

    Kimberly is joining the board in the role of treasurer. 


  • Paige Collins - Recording Secretary

    Paige has been a member of CDCA since 2008 and initially joined the Executive Board in 2013.  After taking a one year break, she has rejoined the Board as the Chair of Committees. Paige has served as President, Vice President for Professional Development, Vice President of Membership and chaired several committees.  

    Paige is currently a  school counselor at Ichabod Crane Middle School.  She has a background in higher education and worked in the Admission Office at Russell Sage College for eight years before becoming a School Counselor.  She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Siena College and while working at Sage, earned Master’s Degrees in Organization Management and Professional School Counseling.  

    When Paige is not working, she is enjoying spending time with her partner and two kiddos.  She loves to travel, read and craft!

    Kirsten Kellersberger - VP of Professional Development

    Kirsten joined CDCA one year ago and is honored to serve as the VP of Professional Development. She is the Coordinator of High School Programs at Hudson Valley Community College.

    Her professional background is in education and nonprofits. I began my journey in higher education at Western Kentucky University as an advisor and left as the Senior Advisor over the college of Arts & Letters. She joined CDCA in hopes of learning more about the counselors side of the world in order to best assist administrators and students. 

    In my spare time, I like to study the architecture of Troy, especially wavy glass, ornamental lintels, and hearty iron embellishments!
